I like the arugala....!!!

I'd like to see one of him with a cigarette in his hand and a caption saying, "Smoke 'Em If Ya Got 'Em".

Lonnie, honestly, I truly get creeped out by the iconography and idolatry, I find it disturbing.

I like Lonnie's idea. I wonder if Artfish would do it?

Artfish?

Well, somebody's gotta sit in the Oval Office. My excitement with Obama stems from the fact that he and Joe Biden are seemingly so much the opposite of George Bush and Dick (Sure Shot) Cheney in every way, and God knows I'm sick to death of George Bush and Dick Cheney.

UK, they are all crooks. Do you want the young crook from Chicago or the old crook from Arizona? You are going to get a crook either way.

Admit it, the posters are funny and Lonnie's would be even funnier.

Well then, Lonnie should do it.

I thought Artfish made the posters? Does Lonnie make posters as well?

Details, details. I haven't had my second cup of tea yet. If Artsfish is the one who does them, then Artsfish should do it. Sheesh.

UK, Looking at Lonnie's profile photo, it certainly does appear that he does posters as well. So now I am waiting to see this smoke'm one.

Gotta admit, I laughed BBE.

Yes indeed, they are all crooks. But I'd like a crook in office who can at least piece the economy back together again. John McCain ain't that crook.
The lesser of two evils has always been an integral part of U.S. elections. Probably will be until someone with chutzpah comes up with a better way.

Rated/appreciated.

I'm going to have to steal the arugula one.

And I like this mood you're in. Keep these posts coming. That's an order. I mean it. Right now. No riding that Harley mister, until you do.

These three posters, one of which is even animated and for other reasons as well which I'll touch upon in a moment cannot be classified with the other two. (And where did these come from, by the way? At best, I think they are merely artful contrivances.)

In the past, I've heard many people say with heart-felt cynicism, ". . . they are all crooks. Do you want the young crook from Chicago or the old crook from Arizona? You are going to get a crook either way." This very remark is like a stone easily picked up on the beach.

Obama is hardly a juvenile delinquent builing sand-castles. His ideas, although perhaps quite unusual to some, are going to prove to be constructive, every so constructive in my view; and my views are almost ALWAYS guided gut-feeling and intuition, and there-after, REASON.

The first two posters have the graphic trappings of the type of images created by artists in The Peoples' Republic of China around 1960 to 1970; that might explain why some people are uncomfortable with this form of iconography because, for me at least, the intent is ambiguous. And Mr Behind-Blue-Eyes has been rather silent as to his intent here, as far as I can tell.

Don S.

You missed the Obama poster making phase OS went through at roughly the time I put these up. Responding to an Open Call, the Obama worshiping masses here scurried around and made posters of their messiah. The editors made a front cover that was nothing but these offerings. It was puke inspiring.

All the posters look like this because of some famous poster done by some artist for the chosen one's campaign.

I guess you don't follow politics much?

Not following politics much is a good thing, BTW.

What is your opinion of nudity?
