I met the guy with the swas tat while i was in the Slam, doin my 4 months for dui. He was terribly embarrassed about havin to carry that thing around on his back. It was 20 yrs old, a youthful folly...
I read "phenomenology of spirit" by hegel in my bunk. One day he sneaks up on me, all white and aryan, a nice act, but i saw through the soft hearted son of a gun. He axed me, "yo, whatcha readin, bro"...(ironically, he talked like a black man, and his buddies were homeboys). I said, " a book of philosophy by a dead german guy." "huh, lemme see..."
He opened it at random & was introduced to the wild wooly world of english tryin to be german, ....german of a highly unorthodox style, so weird even the damn krauts cant read it anymore...tho 200 years ago, a gentleman could digest his hegel with his morning beer...
he flipped open to "when self-consciousness individuality arises/ the bond of trust/ which links it/ with the social unity/ is destroyed./The individual opposes himself to the social order..."
"yo, this is it!" he said. "Yep, it is..." He said, "Now, look, where can i get this book? Can i borrow it?"
"Hell no. Get yr own..."
(You would not believe the trouble i had, to get a damn book into the Slam. It had to be ordered from the bookstore. My gla couldnt send it straight to me. Also they had to hold onto t and get their censors to look at it, in case there was incendiary shit in it)

It has been a problem here on OS since the powers that be removed a time constraint on the feed March. Not something you would be hip to as a noob.
If you check out the feed, you will notice older posts that hang out there, but get no rates or comments. Such is the power of google image search.
